JUGS # 276 and NBUS #3

I'm not good with color challenges but I knew when I saw the colors at Just Us Girls that I had just the right stamp for it.

What do you think of when you see green, orange and blue? This is what I saw.

Bird by WPlus 9, flower by Hero Arts, sentiment by My Favorite Things, colored with Distress Inks. I even used a little Perfect Pearls to give the hummingbird shiny feathers.

Since this is the first time I've used the Flora and Fauna 2 stamp, I'm also entering another card in Darnell's NBUS Challenge.  That poor girl has over 530 cards entered.  I only say "poor" because that's a lot of cards to acknowledge.  She even had to take a break from cardmaking to have time to do so.   It also shows how rich she is, because so many followers want to participate, and how poor they are because of all the NBUS they have.  I see a big vicious cycle here. ;-)

Thanks for stopping by.  I am enriched by your visit and comments.

So, so beautiful, Bobby... there's that hummingbird! When you visit in summer, you can feed ours from your hand!

I think you're exceptionally 'good' with colour challenges, Bobby...the proof is in this gorgeous card! What a lovely debut of your NBUS stamp; I'm ready to see flowers and hummingbirds right now! The sentiment: yes! The *vicious* NBUS circle...too funny!

Now this is just gorgeous, Bobby!!!! You've nailed this challenge hands down for absolute certain. This sweet little fella reminds me that Spring is getting closer every day! Had to laugh too, I have 2 orders coming... and am trying NOT to order anything else for a bit (yeah, like that will happen, lol!). However, I will be making a stop at Michaels later today...hahahaha...poor is right!!! Love this card. Bev

What a beautiful card. The colouring on your hummingbird is amazing. Such a simple card with such beauty. So glad you shared it with us at Just us Girls. Thanks.

This is so pretty. Great job of combining images from different sets, even companies. And a perfect way to combine those colors.

Here I am, Bobby, with my poor little fingers worn down to nubs. Haha, nubs - nbus! I have to put that in my winner post on Sunday! I karack myself up. You karacked me up, too, with your viscous circle. You forgot to say about how there is a secondary circle whereby we are all just enable each other to buy more NBUS when we visit and see the OTHER NBUS cards and the products used. I mean, it's true for me, anyway, so Mt. NBUS just gets higher and higher! Owell, it's all good clean fun until the credit card bill arrives!

Okay, now this card. My good gravy, girl, you really do need to work on canvas when you design something like this!! It is ART and should be hung on a wall!! You know I love hummers, so this card just melted my heart!! Thank you so much for joining in my NBUS Challenge #3 again and for understanding why I haven't been around to see your other posts, which I'm going to assume you've done this month! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

What a beautiful scene, Bobby! Love that hummingbird and the perfect pearls make it shine like a real hummingbird! Have to agree about Darnell! She is a gem! And her poor fingers are probably numb from all that commenting!
