MUSE #121

The lovely Michele has the inspiration card at MUSE this week.

I had to think long and hard about this one but then remembered an old stamp set I won almost a year ago that would work perfectly.

I did a little surgery on the conjoined flowers in the Artzy set.  Then I had the nerve to behead the bloom from the stem.  It worked even better than I thought and so much easier to stamp than to mask off sections.  I tried that first with poor results.  The label is from an even older Tim Holtz die, stamped and embossed with PB's Snippets.  Love that set for tiny messages!  To follow through with the Muse, I embossed the background.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your visits and comments are truly appreciated.

A very successful beheading if I've ever seen one, Bobby!!! Oh this is a cutie! LOve the embossing - but then, you knew I would! Any luck with the Hummingbird feeder?

I love the little file tab for the sentiment. And surgery makes life so much easier to ink in two colours, don't you think? So glad you joined us at Muse this week!

This is so cute. Love how well your stamp surgery went! I have tried it too, and it really does work better than masking. Your sentiment is great where it is, and I like your flower trio.

Fabulous take on Michele's card...a bit of 'beheading' worked marvelously, because wow..those flowers are delightful. The embossed background: YES!
