Muse #130

Tracey McNeely made this darling card for the Muse inspiration this week.

I recently got the companion to this stamp set, MFT's Birds of Paradise.  I thought it would be the perfect one to use, colored with Inktense pencils.

I just broke my resolve to not get any wood block stamps.  I went to a garage sale down the street and she had a lot of stamp sets from Stampin' Up for sale.  I wish I'd stopped by on Friday when I first saw the sign and there was a lot more to choose from.  The upside is that everything was half off today.  I got five sets for $7.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful week.

Darn it! Another Muse week that I've just missed! LOve your tall bird as a stand-in for the tall tree! Great score, by the way...

Wow, that price is worth breaking your promise for. I keep making statements like 'I'll only buy from these companies" or "only this type of supply", but immediately find something to make me break my promise. I still find that wood and rubber give good reliable results. Love your colourful bird and how well he works with this layout! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week, Bobby!

Fantastic card Bobby ... great take on Tracy's card. Five sets for $7 ... what a deal! Definitely worth breaking your rules to avoid wood mounted stamps. You are going to have fun playing with all your new toys. :) xx

What a fun image and card! I said I wasn't going to buy any more sentiments except in photopolymer. Then I turned around and ordered 2. Best not to make resolutions, I think.

LOVE this tall bird, Bobby ... guess he's just going to have to go in my wish book (yay!). Great shopping ... what bargains ... you could always unmount the stamps from the wood blocks and then you'd have kept your resolution (tee hee)!! Hugs, Anita :)
