Inkspirational #92

I love the little scene that is the inspiration over at the Inkspirational challenge.  Autumn is my favorite time of year, even if it is the precursor to winter.
I had several different things I wanted to try but my first idea came out like I imagined it and so that's what I'm going with.
To me, my Tim Holtz stripe stencil looks a little like trees so using Soft Stone cs I inked over the stencil with Stormy Sky Distress Ink.  I was a little nervous about splattering DI for the leaves but it's only paper after all.  If it doesn't work I can try something else but I was delighted with the results.  The sentiment is computer generated, inked with DI and popped up.  The photo makes it look like it's on crooked but it's not.  Truly it isn't.

ETA: I'm also going to send this over to Time Out whose challenge is "Autumn ... the year's last, loveliest smile".  Thanks for reminding me, Sandie.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  I hope your week is going well.

Bobby I just love this. It really is such a unique take on the photo. It is like abstract art! Why not add this to TO challenge also, it is perfect. So creative, it just jumped out of the gallery. Thanks for joining Ink x

Innovative to the max, Bobby! Transforming that striped stencil into a forest and adding the colourful leaves = a unique, eye-catching translation of the photo inspiration! I agree with Sandie: abstract art awesome! Thank you for sharing this gem in the Ink gallery!
