Muse #139

This week's Muse is Tracey McNeely and she made this lovely card to inspire us.
She used the Altenew Layered Flowers and I can understand why she only stamped two layers.  I played and played with the same set, different flower, and couldn't get a decent one to put on my card using three layers.  I opted for my NBUS WPlus9 Doodlebuds instead.
I painted my flowers with Distress Ink so they're a little brighter than Tracey's and I chose to put my panel on some Green Apple cs.  The sentiment from HA is stamped in Soft Granite.

I'm glad you stopped by.

Your flowers are so pretty, and I love the distress inking. Great idea to use grey for the sentiment--it is such a soft color.

So pretty, Bobby ... I do love this set ... and you made it shine here! I'd planned on using the same one for Tracey's Muse ... but then the Time Eating Monster came along and it didn't get done ... lovely to see how gorgeous it is in such a wonderful crisp setting!! Hugs, Anita :)

I think your decision to abandon the one set in favour of this one was wise, because WOW! So incredibly pretty! Doodle-delicious!
