Time Out #57

I once heard that weeds are only flowers in places you don't want them. This week Time Out has a challenge that brought that idea to mind.  We are to make our card fit the saying "May all your weeds be wild flowers". I love wild flowers and one of my favorites is Queen Anne's Lace which some people consider to be weeds.  I'm thinking this is QAL on my card.
I cut the flower from Memory Box when I visited Michele and needed a great backdrop for it.  I smooshed  Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio Distress Inks onto my craft sheet, sprayed liberally with water and rubbed the watercolor paper in it until I was satisfied with the results.  Don't ask me where the sentiment is from.  I accidentally left the stamp in my Misti and can't remember where it came from.  It'll dawn on me sooner or later and I can put it back in it's place.

Thank you for dropping by.  I hope you have a great weekend, especially if you get an extra day off for Memorial Day.

Gaspingly gorgeous, Bobby ... the smooshed background on it's own is stunning enough ... with that dainty, delicate die cut QAL it's breathtaking! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
