My thoughts were (1) use a PTI stamp that I haven't used in forever, if ever, and (2) make a masculine card.
The little squares are a die that comes with the set of a variety of designs. I chose this one to turn and make a completed pattern. The squares and the sentiment, also from PTI, are stamped in Caribbean Sky by Altenew. The tan-ish strip has been embossed with MFT grosgrain.
I spent yesterday playing with some new products but no cards made. Hopefully I can complete some projects today and get some commenting done. So many things to do and so little time.
Such lovely subtle colours, Bobby ... and so cool and graphic ... fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCool and graphic as Anita said and it's always great to have some guy cards in the stash! I struggled with this sketch too. I'm not even going to post the card I came up with. :(
ReplyDeleteI love the squares, Bobby! They are perfect for this sketch (definitely a challenging one) and perfect for a masculine card.
ReplyDeleteSimple and cute Bobby! Terrific guy card!
ReplyDeleteYou nearly created a handsome little man's handkerchief here, Bobby! I like it! xx

Perfect manly card, Bobby! Love those colors together, and you've used the sketch really well, if you ask me. I had that same PTI stamp set, but since I wasn't using it either, I think it went to Geri G. After seeing this, I might have to rethink it, lol!! I do like this one. It's got a clean, cool look. Bev
ReplyDeleteManly marvelous from where I'm sitting, Bobby! A+++ on the sketch and the colours. Blue and kraft = yummy!

Fabulous card...love your clean take on the sketch and your colors are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic masculine card. I have those squares and can never get them lined up just right. What is your secret?
ReplyDeleteWonderful take on the sketch, Bobby! Love the colors and those plaid squares!
ReplyDeleteI think those square were just perfect for the sketch! It reminds me of an old fashioned men's handkerchief , so perfect for a masculine card!
