Just Us Girls #354

Whenever there are 5 Saturdays in a month Just Us Girls has a Wild Card challenge and Nancy has chosen this for the theme:
I'm not usually a girly type card maker but I have a good reason to love this challenge.  My great-granddaughter turns 1 in September and I made a card to celebrate her birthday.
I can just imagine Hannah wearing a dress that looks something like this. Fabric made with a NBUS stamp from CASual Fridays embossed with Silver Pearl,  overlaid with Spun Sugar and adorned with Liquid Pearls.  On the bottom a little scalloped tutu of vellum cut by MFT and a silver sash.  (Yes, it's silver, Darn photo editing.)  PTI's oval dies, the bottom one inked in Spun Sugar and the HLS number 1 embossed in silver are my sentiment.

We'd love to see your idea of a girly card.  You may be chosen Chic of the Week and be eligible for a Guest Designer Spot in September.  Head on over to the Just Us Girls blog for some inspiration.

Bobby this is the sweetest card!! LOve the shimmery embossing, and OH do I love the 'ruffles!' Probably a 1-year-old will be more excited about her cake ... but her mom is going to be giddy about it! xx

What?!!! You are not a GG :)-- you look like my younger sister! Meanwhile fabulous touches of "girly" detail!

I am on the same thought process as Vicki! You are not a Great Grandma! No way! This card is so cute. Really love the triple layer of scallop! Happy Birthday to you!

THUD!!!!!! Well, pick my jaw up off the floor....NO WAY are you a great grandmother. I'm prob'ly way older than you and my GRANDsons are 8 and 10!!! You lucky girl! And this card is just beautiful. I love the analogy of the dress, just beautiful. I'm sure it's even prettier IRL. Well done! And happy birthday, Hannah!!

So soft and frilly! I can totally see this design as a dress. Love your details with the pearl embossing and liquid pearls and the layered, scalloped vellum.
