Just Us Girls #395

It's photo week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has this delicious looking one for you to be inspired by.
I saw that scrolled heart and knew exactly that I was going to base my card on it, making a wedding card for a soon to be married grandson.

For the background I white embossed a stamp from CP.  I actually did this three times, once with Sparkle embossing powder and once with Perfect Pearls but they both looked too yellow to me so I went with the white one. The scrolled heart is from Serendipity and I keep forgetting I have it.  It came to mind the minute I saw the heart in the photo.  The sentiment is silver embossed on a scalloped oval of vellum and to add more silver, I took a cardboard heart and heat embossed it in silver three times to give it a smooth finish.

How will you be inspired by the photo?  Will you do cookies?  Or something all in white?  Whatever it is, we'd love to see your creation in the gallery.  If you need some inspiration, check out what the Design Team has done.

LOVE how you have heat embossed that silver heart. It's perfect on this card and it's getting pinned. And by the way - there's NO WAY you have a grandson who will be getting married. That just DOES NOT compute!!!

That's the second of my husband's grandsons to marry. I have a grandson and granddaughter who are married and she has two children.

This is pure CAS elegance! I love the embossing on the background paired with that gorgeous heart. You must have been a child bride to have grandchildren old enough to be married.
