CAS(E) This Sketch #252

I wanted to do something different with the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch.
My first inclination was to cut strips of PP and follow the sketch to a T.  Then I pulled out a card for my granddaughter's birthday and thought the stamp set I used for it would fit into the sketch.
She loved her card and I gave her art supplies as a gift.  I think I'll save this one as a thank you when she presents me with one of her paintings. ;)

Everyone arrived home safely from our Christmas celebration although one family made it just before I 94 across southern Michigan was closed between their exit and the next.  Too many reckless drivers caused a multi-car pile up.  By the time one son made it home to Traverse City he had 10 inches of snow in his driveway.  We all had a wonderful time with lots of good food, games and laughter.

Here's wishing you all a wondrous year in 2018.  May your troubles be small and your blessings be many.

What a FUN take on the sketch Bobby, this is so cute! What a great gift for our granddaughter. You'll have to share her art with us, Glad your family made it home safe and sound. I saw Michigan had whiteout conditions!

Wow! Bobby this is soooooooooooo clever. Fantabulous take on the sketch. Yes you will have to show us what your granddaughter makes with her art supplies. Great gift idea. Glad all the rellies arrived home safe. We are having the hottest weather here and close to 100f daily. Our AC has been working overtime but at least we have had nice rain late in the afternoons the last few days but it's gone and now in for more heat. happy New Year!

Fabulous card for an artist!! We have one of our granddaughter's paintings hanging over the fireplace in the living room, and we're so proud of her, as you certainly are of your granddaughter! And she'll treasure this forever, too!! From one artist to another!! Love those bright colors. We didn't get the snow you got across the lake, but we do have the cold. So glad your family made it home safely. Happy New Year, my friend. Bev

The perfect card to pair with the perfect gift for your budding artist granddaughter! And, it's a brilliant take on the sketch, too! My niece made me a gorgeous string-art piece; talk about an incredible surprise! My sister-in-law framed it and it is, in a word, stunning! I'll take a photo when I can figure out how to minimize the reflective glass that covers it...may need to get that replaced. Now, to find a 'see-it-all-the-time' spot to hang it...
