The new Twofer Challenge is half over and I'm just getting around to posting my cards. I don't have much in the way of harvest images so I did what a lot of other people did - went with pumpkins.
In this case pumpkin dies from SSS. Four of the pumpkins had already been cut out last year and I found them inside the die envelope. That made it easy to finish up the cards.
The patterned pumpkins were added to an irregular cut panel edged with Distress Ink, along with some stalks from C9. The sentiment is from Jillian Vance and is for a Thanksgiving card.
For the Halloween card I cut a mask for the moon and inked the panel with Oxides. The bats and jack-o-lantern faces are from W&W and the heat embossed sentiment is from My Craft Spot (OOB).
I'm busy making Halloween cards ( I need 9 for my grands and great-grands) and Thanksgiving cards for the church homebound (I need 14). I'm getting there. I also have two friends with Halloween birthdays so those cards are in the making too.

This time of year we can never have too many punkins and yours work perfectly for the Harvest prompt, Bobby! Cutting them from pp adds lots of interest to your Thanksgiving card, as does the inked and irregular border of your panel, the stalks from C9, and the grateful sediment! I have to give you huge kudos for the blending and splattering of your Halloween card background! It is richly colored and makes such a great backstop for the adorable pumpkins, full moon, and flying bats! (I don't think those happy punkins are paying attention to your sediment!!) Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #10! Hugs, Darnell
Pumpkins are a great choice and I love bright orange, so that makes it an even better choice lol. Your blended background is amazing Bobby, it reminds me that this is a technique that I need to practice!
Pumpkins are always great - your two cards prove that. Of course my favorite is the Halloween card. You created such an amazing spooky scene!
Such pretty papers for your Thanksgiving pumpkins, Bobby ... the warm colours in them and in the wheat stems are delicious against the edged white panel! Your happy little jack o lantern pumpkins are such fun ... so cute ... and they really pop against that amazing moonlit night sky! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
Bobby, you put two very different looking cards together with those pumpkins! Okay, I know that's the point of the challenge, but you REALLY put two different looking cards together! I love those patterned paper pumpkins with the wheat and inked edged panel - it has that warm, cozy fall feeling to it. Your next card, on the other hand, with the dramatic night sky, gives your bright pumpkins a setting fit for Halloween! Thanks so much for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
Two super cards. I love the design of your CAS card and your Halloween card is such fun. I love the spooky sky. xx
Adorable cards Bobby! Love your patterned pumpkins with the beauiful framing. The background of your Halloween card is AMAZING! Love the colours and splatters. And perfect how you got a bit of haze around your moon masking. The bright orange pumpkins look amazing paired with blue and purple sky. xx
