Time Out #125 - Inspired by Words

I knew right away what I wanted to use for a sentiment on my card for Time Out which is the opposite of how I usually roll.  I make a card and then agonize over what sentiment to put with it.  This time I agonized over the design of the card.  I practiced a few things that ended up in the recycle bin until I decided to use something in my WTDWT (what to do with this) drawer.
I tried a few stencil monoprints for another challenge and this one didn't make the cut but I liked it enough to save it.  I thought it looked perky enough to use with the copper embossed sentiment from Hero Arts, one that's been in my stash and unused for way too long.  Here's what inspired me.
I hope you all live your life with joy.

First off I want to thank you for all your support for Time Out this year....I always love to see your cards in the Gallery and I think have been there every challenge-a huge thank you...and we have some fun lined up for you next year! I love the way you rolled with it...I am opposite and often know the sentiment I want and then work on the design! The sentiment is perfect for our challenge and that stencil work is superb...a lovely arty look and thanks for joining Time Out

Oh look, my favourite word in your coppery sentiment, Bobby ... it's yummy against that warm, cosy and wonderfully unstructured background panel! I'm the same with sentiments ... always a challenge finding one and then placing it! Wishing you a blessed and Happy new Year, my friend ... and thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
