Freshly Made Sketches #372 and CAS(E) This Sketch #306

Oh boy I'd better type fast.  The deadline for Freshly Made Sketches is in 22 minutes.
I stamped and heat embossed the Winnie and Walter images and then inked the panel with Distress Inks.  I left off the red and turned that portion of the rainbow into the vertical sentiment die cut.

All the while I was making this card I kept thinking I had seen another challenge with a similar sketch.  I checked out CAS(E) This Sketch and there it was.  It was just different enough for me to make a second card.
For this one I wanted a masculine card and used some new papers for the background and heat embossed the die cut sentiment with Platinum.

Update:  I was looking through my challenge list and saw one I added but have never played in: As You See It.  The current challenge is 'metallic' and I think this last card fits the bill.

Thanks for dropping by.  Stay warm if you are in the arctic blast.

Two cool cards Bobby! Love the rainbow on your first card...definitely a card for a celebration!! And your masculine card is awesome...love those DSP and the embossing with the platinum! You aced both of these sketches my friend! Hope you're staying warm and safe...didn't think it was ever going to stop snowing today, and I hear there's more on the way! Guess Winter's here to stay for awhile...bummer!! Oh well, it is a good excuse to stay inside and stamp!! :0)

Whew! Now that's cutting it close, Bobby - lol! Fabulous rainbow, with that bright red sentiment. Such a festive card. And I'm in a kind of masculine card making zone, too. LOVE that platinum sentiment. Soooooo cool. It works perfectly with those papers. Great cards! Hope you're not getting what we did... Somewhere around 10ish inches....Bev

What great layouts, Bobby! I love how you've interpreted them and both would make great masculine cards! The first one would be great for a teenage boy or girl! They are the hardest for me.

Awesome cards and great design here. I think I need that happy birthday die, you have used it beautifully here. Love the backgrounds on both.

Great cards and great combination of challenges. Your very well chosen papers compliment that fabulous platinum embossed sentiment. It does indeed more than fit the bill for our metallics challenge! Thank you for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge this week.

These are both beautiful but as always I am drawn to the bright colours of the first. Love how you used the little stamps from Winnie and Walter to make the card front. Looks so cool.
