Christmas Kickstart #4

This Christmas Kickstart challenge is asking for a heart on our cards.  That stumped me for a while until I was looking through my Christmas paper and found one that would work.  Then I remembered a NBUS stamp set and it all came together.
I trimmed the DSP so that the words were even on each side and then cut my center panel to fit between the words.  I watercolored the MFT angel, embossed the panel, added the sentiment from PTI and thought it still needed something.  The black strips along the edge make that center panel stand out from the background.

It's never too early to start making Christmas cards.  I hope you've found a challenge that encourages you to make some.  Maybe this one?

It is surprising the different ways you can sneak a little heart in LOL!!

Your card is simply adorable, Bobby! I think the heart theme has exercised a few brains this fortnight. Your card is delightful and I really like how the narrow black border pulls everything together. Thanks so much for playing at The Christmas Kickstart Challenge, Jo x
