The Card Concept #107

The Card Concept has a scrumptious looking photo for our inspiration and I dug out a stamp I haven't used in a while to make my card.
The wonky cake and sentiment are from Sugar Pea Designs that I got in a Stamp of Approval box from Catherine Pooler three years ago.  I mounted the panel on black and white paper that is even older than that for my clean and layered card.

    Time for some catching up due to my lapses in spending time with Lily and TWO trips to Edmonton to visit mom. Apologies...but I know you understand! Your layer cake is yummy! Haven't had cake in ages...perhaps time to change that!

    I think what I love most about this card, other than the focal, is that background. The black and white pattern just make the focal pop. This is really a great simple design that packs a punch!!!
