I just got some new stencils from Sarah at Funky Fossil that I won at a Time Out challenge. I thought one of them would be perfect for the ghosting challenge at CAS Stencil.
I inked up a mixed media panel with green Distress Inks and placed down the Forest Foliage stencil, spritzed with water and laid a coffee filter and paper towel over it. Why a coffee filter you ask? If you saw my last entry in the challenge, the paper towel left its own imprint on my card here. The CP leaves were the same shape and size so I cut two from paper that looked like the background colors. At least I thought they did when I was picking them out.
Thanks for dropping by today. I appreciate it when you do.

Beautiful ghosting effects, Bobby! I love that you chose 'leaves' for your theme...especially for a sympathy card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at the CAS Stencil Challenge! And, thank you for sharing your tip about using the coffee filter :)
Wonderful background Bobby, this is lovely!
Such a serene card Bobby, love the softness of the ghosted background, it's always a fun surprise when the colours change after blotting the excess water! Thankyou for playing along at CAS Stencil, Cathy x
It's amazing how well the leaves match the stencil, Bobby! The shape is perfect and I love the contrasting colors and smooth ghosting.
I like the idea to use the same leaves for the ghosting. How great that the die matched the stencil. This looks terrific.
Beautiful sympathy card Bobby! Love the soft greens of your ghosted panel. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil! xx
