CAS Mix-Up April

I love all the techniques that we get to learn and use on the CAS Mix-Up Challenge.  This month it's layered embossing and you can see videos on their blog.  It was a little challenging for me because I mainly have metallic embossing powders which would work if you have the right image.  I do have a couple of colored ones that I got on clearance at the grocery store and an old Verdigris one that I love.  Put them together and you get this.
The leaves are from Altenew and I stuck them into a frame that I made with two MFT dies, a scalloped and plain oval.  The sentiment from My Craft Spot (oob) is gold heat embossed.

I'm playing catch up after a busy week and this one is just about as busy.  Thanks for dropping by.  I hope your week goes well.

Not one bit busy, Bobby! Altenew has such gorgeous leaves - you've made these even better with the embossing. You can get craft supplies at the grocery? Lucky you!

Yes I found the secret to this technique was the right layering stamps and suitable powders, which took me awhile to get there....and isn't it great to learn new techniques? x. I love how your card has turned out using those leaves. Great heat embossing of the powders and such a pretty effect. Wonderful CAS design and thank you for joining in the CAS challenge with your beautiful card x.
