The Flower Challenge #32

April showers bring May flowers and May brings a new theme for The Flower Challenge.
This should be an easy one since you can either heat emboss or dry emboss.  Or in my case both.
We are being sponsored by Altenew this month and I have used their Iris stamp and die.  After heat embossing in gold, they were colored with Zigs.  Bonnie gifted me with several panels embossed with that frame and this is my last one.  Unfortunately it has been retired or it would be in my hot little hands.

I hope you go check out what the rest of the Design Team and our guest Enna have made to inspire you and while there please check the rules.  Too many cards have been disqualified for a win because the rules weren't followed.  It's even more important when the winner will receive the Cross-stitch Flower stamp from Altenew.

See you in the gallery.

  1. I'm glad you made good use of those frames, Bobby! Your irises are so pretty, they needed a frame!

  2. Oh my... in my favorite color, too! Gorgeous, Bobby!

  3. So elegant! The irises are beautifully colored and I love the clean and white background panel with only the subtle frames!!!

  4. Bobby, this is so real looking! It's a gorgeous image and you've done a brilliant job of coloring it! I've been to Altenew dozens of times and bought (cough) items from them and I've never seen this iris! My eyes, my eyes, they fail me!! As you saw recently, I also have that embossing folder and I'm happy to run some off for you! Hugs, Darnell

  5. This is stunning Bobby! the flowers look so real too, such a beautiful CAS design also. The embossing around the edge sets it off so well also...and yes I love it too ;) hugs Viv xx

  6. Beautiful card Bobbie and I love the purple and the embossing. So pretty.

  7. Bobby, this bundle is one of my most precious possessions from Altenew, I love it and I love your amazing card, the gold embossing on these Iris flowers shines beautifully and the way you framed them shows them off perfectly.
