For the original The Flower Challenge post
I made a card with daisies on it - my favorite flower.
My second favorite is poppies so I used a stamp from Sheena Douglas
and watercolored with DIs.
I cut the panel, splattered it, added a sentiment from PB and put it on patterned paper from Altenew. I had to tip my photo because those stripes were causing havoc with my eyes trying to make it straight. We have Therese Calvird as our guest designer and Clearly Besotted as our sponsor, offering a $20 gift card. You'll want to check out both of their sites for lots of wonderful inspiration.

Oooh, this is beautiful!
SOOOOOOO pretty Bobby! I love Poppies too and they look FABULOUS against your diagonally striped background! Had to chuckle about tipping it sideways to photograph it...too funny!! :0)
The red with the black and white is striking! This is pretty Bobby!
Thanks for thinking of our eyes, too, Bobby! I love the stripes, though - so striking with these gorgeous red poppies - those great big red ones are a favorite of mine, too! A beautiful reminder!

This is gorgeous, Bobby. Don't know why, but every time someone uses black and white stripes on a card it just pops. Your coloring is beautiful and I love the splatters, really adds something to the whole look!
Beautiful poppies, Bobby! Love the brilliant red with the black and white. So classy!
Beautiful card Bobby and I love your amazing Poppies too, great colouring here also ;) hugs Viv xx
Very pretty, and I'm always so impressed with DI coloring.... not sure why but it eludes me and you've done it so brilliantly!
Lovely, Bobby ... fabulous colouring on those delicate poppies ... what a great contrast with the bold, dramatic black and white stripes ... gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
love your colour combo...so beautiful.
xx Karen
Beautiful card and I love the black stripes with these beautiful poppies! Great job.
Love your bold and classy card, Bobby ! The black striped background was the perfect choice for the red poppies!
love the look of your fab poppies...they come and go too quickly, sadly mine did not bloom this year and that was quite a disappointment.
xx Karen
This is so dramatic, with the vibrant poppies and the black and white paper Bobby!
