While I don't have any growing yet, I can make Spring flowers whenever I want with my stamp sets and Spring flowers is exactly what the CAS Watercolor challenge is looking for.
I decided to paint my Altenew daffodils to look like Jonquils using Distress Inks. I first cut a panel using a Gina Marie die and added a little background ink with a blending brush. I needed one last Easter card so used a sentiment from Jillian Vance.
It seemed so strange to celebrate Palm Sunday with my pastor on FaceBook live. That's how we'll be doing all the Holy Week services and I'm just thankful for the technology to be able to do that as well as keep in touch with family and friends.
Thank you for dropping by today. I pray that you're safe and well and keeping in touch with loved ones, as difficult as that may be when you can't hug them.

Your jonquils look ready to pick, Bobby! So pretty with the soft blended background! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! Technology is so helpful during this time.
Your Jonquils are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bobby, and I love the simple blending around them and the lovely framing die too! CAS and just perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this beauty with us at CAS Watercolour! And I hear you about the technology...so grateful to have it, but truly missing worshipping with my church family!
These Jonquils are the cream of the crop, Bobby! Such a gorgeous card today, my friend!

How beautiful, Bobby! May your week be blessed - you are right - we are so fortunate to enjoy technology that would not have made "togetherness" possible just 20 years ago. hugs, de
Beautiful watercolouring Bobby! Your flowers look amazing against the soft coloured background. So pretty on the stitched panel. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
This is ever so lovely Bobby. I like the bit of soft color you added behind the flowers! We've been watching Mass from our church online too!
Pretty card, I think you can color your flowers any way you like! The days are strange, church on the 'net and conversing over phone or 'net as well -- at least it's keeping us healthy!
Spring bulbs are a favourite of mine, and your jonnies look gorgeous Bobby - lovely soft watercolouring and thanks for sharing with CAS Watercolour, stay safe Robyn
What a delcious soft halo of green around your wonderfully coloured jonquils, Bobby ... ours have all long gone, so it's lovely to see these! Hugs, Anita :)
What a gorgeous card! I love those daffodil stamps - and your jonquils look amazing!!
Our Palm Sunday service was the final Facebook service. The bishop has called for them to stop at individual parishes in order to limit outings. Good Friday and Easter will be difficult to not go and celebrate.
Absolutely beautiful jonquils - one of my favourite of the narcissus. Fabulous watercolouring and great card design. Thank you so much for joining us at CAS Watercolour.
