Today's card is for Color Hues #2. I thought the colors would work well for a masculine card and that's what I had in my mind when I started.
The background was made with my NBUS Square Dance stencils from The Greetery in Chipped Sapphire and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. I trimmed it down and added a branch from Altenew's Leafy Canopy (also NBUS and something I've been waiting for like forever.) The top leaves are popped up as is the sentiment from PTI, white heat embossed on a scrap colored with Chipped Sapphire. I know it looks black in the photo. Leaves are okay on a masculine card, right?I hope you're having a great day. Thanks for taking the time to drop by.

This is beautiful, Bobby! I can see that it's deep navy, not black (helps that chipped sapphire is such a beautiful hue) And the white die cut branches are perfect. Leaves are definitely okay on a masculine card - and really, why shouldn't flowers be, too! ;) THanks for joining us at Color Hues!
It is a great masculine combo Bobby and your card is marvelous! I like the white leaves tucked behind the sentiment!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bobby and I think it works perfectly for a masculine or feminine card! Love it!! :0)
What a great take on that challenge. I love that background, have never seen that stencil. Thanks for the great inspiration!
Bobby, you put 'checks' on anything, and any guy is going to love it, right? I sure do, too! [so happy you finally have your hands on that Altenew set!]

Masculine colors and checks, makes for a great card in my book! I too love that Altenew set
Loving that background Bobby! The card is perfect for anyone! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues again! HUGS!
Leaves are masculine flowers someone said, and I think it's so true. And plaids and checks are masculine too, especially in these colors! Great job, my friend!
Crisp and fresh and fabulous, Bobby ... the sprig of white leaves is delicious against the graphic background ... so great for a masculine card! Hugs, Anita :)
