CAS(E) This Sketch #398

I have a card for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch based on this sketch.

I didn't want to do Ho ho ho and looked through my dies until I found a word die that would work.  It's the sentiment from Gina Marie's ornament die.

First I spread some paint down my watercolor paper for my sky (like I saw Kristina do only not quite as well).  I started with watercolor but it was too light so ended up using Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink.  I also used it to swipe across a piece of paper to have a matching color for the die cut.  After splattering with white gouache, I layered the die cut and cut a star from SSS from glitter paper.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  I hope your week is off to a good start.

I think your night sky is lovely and that you found the perfect non ho ho ho die to use!

Kristina has nothing over this gorgeous Winter sky, Bobby! Your fabulous sentiment was a beautiful stand-in for the Ho's! wait... that doesn't sound right, but you get the meaning? lol Thanks for playing along - we love it when you do!

I love your winter sky! The blending is awesome and the navy words look awesome on that snowy background!
