It's a new year and time for a new challenge at The Flower Challenge. This month's challenge is
Embossing gives you a lot of options for your card but please remember that flowers need to be the focal point. I chose to do heat embossing on the background of my card.
On Soft Stone cs from PTI, I clear heat embossed a stamp from The Stamp Market and the sentiment from Hero Arts, then added the die cut tulips from Altenew. I hope you will join us for the challenge. Need inspiration? The Design Team and our guest designer Jyoti have some wonderful cards to share.
I am sad to announce that Shona will be leaving the team. I've enjoyed your wonderful creations, Shona, and hope that when life is less crazy you will come back to us.
Viv made collages of our favorite cards of 2020. They are posted on the main blog but also on each designer's blog.
Thanks for dropping by my blog. Please do go check out The Flower Challenge and all the designers' blogs or Instagram accounts.

Beautiful card Bobby! It's wonderful how clear embossing the background design makes it stand out so much. It's subtle but adds so much interest. Lovely with the tulips! xx
The layered die cut tulips are beautiful, Bobby! Love the muted colors you chose for the tulips and background! So elegant! Your cards from the last year are also gorgeous! Love them all!
