I mean I HAD to do a bird challenge, people. I love birds of all kinds but those who know me know my love of owls. No I didn't make an owl card but here's what I did do for Double D and The Paper Players. I picked the hummingbird because I was also going to enter another challenge, forgetting that it needed to be a birthday card. Ooops.
The hummingbird is from WPlus9, the flower from Penny Black and the sentiment from My Pink Stamper. (She used to have her own stamps but is now a SU demonstrator.) The images were stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Catherine Pooler inks. The panel was cut with Hero Arts rounded rectangles and layered over Neenah Desert Storm. I added a little splatter for good measure.
Thanks for dropping by. I love it when you do.

A beautiful hummingbird, Bobby, and a beautiful flower for him to investigate!
We're sisters of a feather, Bobby, so I know just what you mean. You HAD to play! This hummer is drawn perfectly and I love how you have colored him with his ruby throat ~ and his tasty flower! The schplatters are mwah! Hugs, Darnell
Your card is so pretty, Birds are my favorite animal. I just created a bird calendar card. I guess I'm going to have to create another bird card for these challenges. Have a great day!

Beautiful! My mom LOVES hummingbirds and has always had a knack for attracting them, but I honestly don't believe I have a single one -- must correct that -- so I can make a beauty like this!
