Yellow and black bring to mind bees, butterflies and school colors. I didn't do any of those for my card for Color Hues. If you know me you probably guessed what I would do.
My friend Marcia enabled me to buy the PTI Into the Blooms: Dahlia. 😁 I loved it for the ferns but didn't even use that die on my card. The flower was cut from yellow and inked with Mustard Seed DI in the center. The leaves are sparkly black paper from DCWV. I added a sentiment from Altenew and put it all on some PTI polka dot paper.
I have my craft area somewhat organized here at the lake so you should be seeing me around a little more. I sure do appreciate it when you drop by. It encourages me to get in there and make some cards.
CAS perfection, Bobby! I love everything about it! Thanks for joining us at Color Hues; it's always fun to see your lovely creations in the gallery!ReplyDelete
I think I know you pretty well by now - well enough to know you'd reach for a way to incorporate these colors into florals of some kind! Bobby, this is so beautiful!ReplyDelete
I knew you'd reach for the flowers too Bobby (great minds think alike!!!), and so glad I could enable you with this die set...one of my very favorites, and you've definitely made it shine with this color combo!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)ReplyDelete
So pretty, Bobby! Love that yellow flower and how you shaded it! The sparkly black leaves are a wonderful contrast! I'm glad you are settling in and look forward to seeing more of you.ReplyDelete
