Just Us Girls #663 - Photo Week

Carol Mc has a mood board for Just Us Girls this week.

If you know me at all you know that Daisies are one of my favorite flowers so of course I spotted them right away.

The flowers are from a set called Poppies and Daisies from Sheena Douglass and one I've had for ages.  They were stamped in Morning Mist, colored with Zigs and cut with PTI's Tipped Tops.  Smoky Shadow from PTI was run through the Fabric embossing folder from Spellbinders.  (no longer available)  My resolution for this year is to use my older stamps/dies/folders and I did just that on this card.

I hope one of your resolutions is to play at Just Us Girls every week.  This month's guest Jules Peddicord and the rest of the design team have cards to inspire you and would love to see your card in the gallery.

Fabulous design here, I love, love, LOVE that embossed black panel. It really makes the focal pop, and the gray shadowing behind the flowers is GENIUS!!!

I've always loved that 'fabric' EF, Bobby - it's just what I thought about when seeing that moodboard, too! One can never have too many daisies and this is a doozy! She loves it!

Gorgeous daisies! Beautiful coloring and shading. That fabric ef is so cool and the perfect compliment for those daisies.

The stamp and embossing folder are keepers, Bobby! I love how you've done the background so those white daisies glow! Gorgeous, my friend!

Beautiful! Love your sweet daisies, the tipped top cut is great and allows that much more of your texture show too

That crinkly EF was perfect for this! I like the drama the wash of gray adds to the dasies. Fantastic card, Bobby!

Love those wonky daisies - so much character and highlighted with the grey wash. Super background embossing. Fabulous Bobby.

Love that you not only captured the daisies but also the b/w feel of the other photo. That background texture is awesome. Great card!

Your daisies are ever so pretty, especially with the fabric-style embossing folder. I can see why you love this image: it's timeless.
