I haven't play at the Altenew Inspiration Challenge for a while. Since we had a rather overcast dreary day yesterday I decided to make it a priority. Here is Tenia's inspiration.
And my card.
I've had the Craft-Your-Life Lush Garden set for a while and thought it would work well with the colors. This set has layering stamps, dies, an embossing folder and stencils. I didn't realize when I ordered it that one stencil colors just the background of the stamped images and the other three color the embossing folder. Three of the Red Cosmos inks were used for the pink flower and two of the Warm and Cozy for the orange one. They are layered on the panel embossed with the Lush Garden folder.
Since I stamped the flowers on opposite ends of the cardstock, I ended up with flowers for another card.
The foiled dotted frame was in my Bits Box. I masked the edge to color inside the frame with Frayed Leaf before popping up the flowers.
