Jingle Belles and NBUS #84

I'm trying to break away from my literal take on challenges but a recent purchase has me making this card for Jingle Belles  - We Three Kings.

The die set is from Spellbinders and I used some of their Treasured foil cardstock for the red and blue capes.  The other is from Park Lane (JoAnn Fabrics brand).  I found matching cardstock for their robes and used gold for the crowns and gifts.  Both the star and sentiment are in the set and the sentiment was heat embossed in gold on Gina K In the Navy.  My only complaint is that the foil has a white core and shows along the edges.  I wish I had thought of it before it was glued together but next time I will color the edges with markers.

This is the first card with the kings so they are headed to Darnell's NBUS.

Thanks for dropping by and spending a bit of your day with me.

Gorgeous colours for your kings outfits, Bobby! There is so much contrast with the dark background. Wonderful card, my friend! xx

I love these dies but all those pieces are scary to me! You have used them beautifully and I think the white edges (which don't show in the photo) maybe help to show them off against that dramatic dark background! What an awesome Christmas card, Bobby!

I have had this set in my cart so many different times, but then back out because I have several other sets with the wise men, but they sure don't match up to this set and I may have to get it at some point! You did a wonderful job using it Bobby and I really like their foil capes...so pretty! Lovely, lovely Christmas card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
