It's time for the photo inspiration challenge at Time Out.
There is a larger picture on the blog if you need more details.
I started with an inked panel using Weathered Wood, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxides. I thought the Oxides would give me a softer look but it was still too bright. Here's the fix and final card.
A vellum overlay tones down the colors and gives a great place to stamp and heat emboss the flowers from Altenew's Poppy Garden. The sentiment is from their Japanese Anemone.
Our sponsor is Doodlebugs who is offering a $25 store credit to our winner who will also be asked to guest design for a future challenge.
The Design Team and our guest designer have some wonderful cards to inspire you. Please check them out and make a card for this challenge. We'd love to see you in the gallery.

Beautiful ink blending on your card Bobby. Love the stamped vellum overlay which does tone the colors down. TFS
Really beautiful, blended colors inspired by Deepti's photo, Bobby - and a very smart way to soften it!

Bobby, I love how you softened the inked panel with vellum!! What a pretty, elegant and CAS card!
Wow! I think your blending is amazing, I really love the colors. However, toned down makes a pretty card too
Your ink blending is spot on and I love the misty look of the vellum over it! Those flower outlines are so pretty and let the color show through!
Love that you used vellum to soften your pretty background! Terrific card, Bobby!
Beautiful ink blending on your background Bobby. Those colours are gorgeous together. The vellum with beautiful flowers softens the colours and also adds an ethereal look to your design. xx
This is a wonderful card, Bobby. I love the colors you used for your blending, and the way you softened it is just perfect.

I loved the ink blended panel Bobby, but when you added the vellum it took on a whole new softer / misty look! Just stunning! I love it! I hope you have a lovely day! :)
