Double D - Cute Animals

Hey there!  I'm glad you dropped by.

I don't have a lot of animal stamps but I do think the ones I have are cute.  Especially those from Gerda Steiner.  I mean how cute are these turtles?!  They're for the Double D challenge.

They're stamped on Bristol and colored with Zigs.  Remember when we had those wood handled, long bristled brushes to color our backgrounds?  I still have mine from Clarity Stamps and used one for the soft blue sky on a panel cut with The Greetery's Crimped Rectangle.   The Distress Ink grass is an unbranded die and the sentiment is from Darkroom Door.

I'm slipping under the wire to get this posted so I'm off to Double D.

Inspired By - Sweet on You

I had all the elements for the Inspired By challenge so I had to make a card.
The background similar to the photo came from a Love Nicole paper pack, the crimped die from The Greetery and the cherries from Sunny Studio.  An homage to the silver spoon comes from slate gray cardstock from EbyE and the sentiment is from MFT.  Companies working together to make another uplifting card for my homebound church people.  How fun is that?!

It's the beginning of a rainy week here in Michigan so I should get a lot of crafting done.  How about you?

CAS Watercolor - Luck of the Irish

I wasn't sure what I could do for the CAS Watercolor challenge until I remembered my Stemmed Statements set from PTI had a clover in it.  With a little surgery I was able to make that a four-leaf clover.
It's colored with Zigs, die cut and placed on an embossed panel cut with a crimped rectangle from The Greetery.  I found some green ribbon (included in a previous EH order) and stapled it on along side the sentiment tag.

Thanks for dropping by.
