Time Out #298 - Pick Two

This week's challenge at Time Out is another Pick Two - spatter, music, season, edge, monochrome, and metallic.

Those should give you a wide range of ideas for a card. I went rather simple with mine.

I picked season (Christmas) and edge (die cut).  The Angel Bells are from Alex Syberia stenciled with Altenew inks and partially die cut along the edge.  The sentiment is from the same set which now that I think of it is rather ironic since season is one of  my picks.

This challenge is being sponsored by Lawn Fawn and they are offering our winner a $25 store credit.  You have to enter to win so check out the inspiration from the Design Team, pick your words and make a card.  We'd love to see you in the gallery.

Freshly Made Sketches #386

I love the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches so I had to play along.
Top panel cut with Frantic Stamper edger.  Bottom panel is DSP from Altenew.  I saw a painted daisy in this gorgeous purple color so used Zigs to color mine, adding the sprig of wildflowers from MFT and the sentiment form EBE.

We are having an "I 💗 My City" Day today and a number of churches are getting together for worship before heading out into the city to clean up areas that have been neglected, like alleys, along the railroad tracks, etc.  People could call ahead if they had big items to be picked up and a truck will go around to get them, along with any trash bags that the workers have filled.  It's good community outreach and should be a nice day for it weather-wise.

Thanks for dropping by.
