The Paper Players #757

I was playing around with the Doves dies from Honey Bee and ended up with three cards.  Two of them  fit the bill at The Paper Players this week.  This is the one I sent to their gallery.

This was actually the third one I made and wanted something different in the background.  The DSP is from TH and embossed with the Hex Snowflake folder from Spellbinders.  The gold embossed sentiment is from PFS.   I might as well show you the other two.

Another patterned paper from TH was cut with Honey Bee's scallops.  The PFS sentiment is embossed in silver.

Same paper as above but a different version of the dove.  The frame is from PTI with another PFS sentiment.

Three more Christmas cards added to my stash.  Yahoo!

Color Hues #113

My company is gone so I had time to create a card for Color Hues - red and white.  The colors said Christmas to me and since that is the majority of the sets I brought with me, I narrowed in on this one.

The dove is a Lovely Layer from Honey Bee.  I cut an extra body and snipped off the wing to use it to mask the bird and shade the wings with Lost Shadow DI.  The red panel was trimmed, embossed with the Organic Linen folder from Altenew and added to a white card base.  The gold embossed sentiment is from Pinkfresh Studio.  I have a feeling I will be making more of this design.

Color Throwdown #824 and NBUS #70

I had plenty of gray scraps to make a card for Color Throwdown.

I knew they'd make a great background for the Honey Bee dove that I've had sitting in my NBUS box for quite some time.  A little Lost Shadow DOX gave just the right shading on the wings and tail.  I planned to make Christmas cards with it but never did so here's one for my 2025 stash and the NBUS challenge.  The sentiment is an oldie from E by E, layered for dimension.

Thanks for dropping by.
