Krafty Chicks #772

This is the week for Krafty Chicks Christmas Challenge and since I brought mostly Christmas things to work on this summer, I made them a card.

The truck is from Newton Nook's Destination Christmas, colored with Altenew artist markers, and popped up on a panel cut with MFT's Elegant Rectangles.  A larger rectangle was cut from a tree paper from Echo Park.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set.   One more down.  😁

Freshly Made Sketches #688

My plan for my summer crafting is to catch up on my Christmas cards.  I'm so far behind and don't want to wait until I'm back in my regular studio to get them done.  I brought a fair amount of Christmas stamps and dies with me and used one for my card for Freshly Made Sketches

The DSP is from a freebie pack from Honey Bee Stamps.  I used some new dies from HB called Mini-Holiday Florals and placed them on an MFT Elegant Rectangle.  The sentiment is from Altenew.  I'm wishing the berries were more the color in the paper but it's the closest I had.

Double D - May Birthstone or Flower

No Lily-of-the-Valley in my arsenal of flower stamps and dies but I made a substitute for the challenge at Double D.  They are honoring May birthdays by asking us to use the flower or birthstone of the month - Emerald.

My Honey Bee Wildflower is more Campanula than Lily but I thought it worked, especially on the emerald green background.  The green is cut with MFT's Elegant Rectangle and embossed with SU's TimeWorn Type.  The background is Altenew's Organic Linen folder and the sentiment is a BetterPress from SB.

Just Us Girls #717 - Color Week

It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and our host Elizabeth has chosen these colors for you to use on your card.

I went rather tropical with my card.

I'm trying to use older things in my stash and these MFT Wild Greenery dies haven't seen the light of day in ages.  My color choice is the aqua of the third leaf.  The leaves are arranged on one of MFT's Elegant Rectangles that is layered on Key Lime cs from Gina K.  The sentiment is from EbyE.

I want to welcome Tracey McNeely as our guest designer this month. She and the rest of the Design Team have some colorful cards to inspire you.  I hope we see your card in our gallery.
