Color Hues #125

I have the honor of guest designing at Color Hues for their current challenge.

I actually used five different blue hues on my card.

This is a mix of two Spellbinders sets, Guiding Light for the lighthouse and birds and Set Sail for the waves and clouds.  I did add a little neutral gray to the card in the form of a rock for the lighthouse to sit on.

I'm anxious to see what the Design Team has made using blue and white.  Let's go take a look at the blog post shall we?  I hope we inspire you to make a card for the challenge.

Cardz 4 Guyz #371

I took advantage of the Cardz 4 Guyz challenge "Body of Water" to make another card with Spellbinders/WPlus9 Guiding Light dies.

I thought it would be fun to make a brick lighthouse so I embossed some PTI Terra Cotta Tile with Altenew's Brick Wall folder, adding some Distress Ink in the creases and along the edge.   A couple of grays pounced with Hickory Smoke make up the rock and Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean were used for the background.   The sentiment is from PFS.

Thanks for dropping by.

Cards 4 Guys #364

I'm not sure if I've ever participated in the Cards 4 Guys challenge but I happened to see that their theme was lighthouse and knew I had just the set to make a card.

The images are from a Spellbinders set I bought a while ago and the lighthouse and rocks were already made and in the folder.  The background was blended with an MFT cloud stencil and Stormy Sky DI.  The sentiment is one from BetterPress.

Thanks for dropping by.
