Time Out #290 - Pick Two

It's time for another Pick Two challenge at Time Out

There are six options and you need to pick at least two to incorporate onto your card.  Please let us know which ones you picked in your description.

I picked repeat, weather and bold.  My repeat is the three umbrellas from MFT which are cut from bold paper and for the weather I used translucent paste through a raindrop stencil for the background. (You may have to zoom in to see them.) To fit all the umbrellas, I made a mini-slimline card.  I didn't have any kind of sentiment that would work so I generated one on the computer, outlining it with a black border to make it show up.

I'd love to see your Pick Two in our gallery.

Just Us Girls #662 - Word Week

Are you busy making valentines?  Maybe the challenge at Just Us Girls will inspire you.  Sue is our host and she has chosen heart for Work Week.

I saw a card on Pinterest by Melissa at Scrapstreet that inspired my card.

The mini-slimline is 3 5/8 by 7 1/4 which fits in a Monarch envelope.  The heart die and sentiment are from The Greetery and the papers are from different packs in my stash.

Do you think our guest designer Jules and the rest of the Design Team are making valentines?  Let's go take a look.  We all hope you'll make a card for the gallery, valentine or not, as long as it has a heart.
