Time Out #321 - Theme Challenge

The theme challenge for this fortnight at Time Out is

It took me a while to figure out what to do for my card, until I remembered a sale item I got a while ago.  

That item was the box of popcorn from SSS.  The film strip from PPP was cut from SB Matte Black Treasured cardstock and I found some patterned paper from Paper Rose to fill the centers and make it seem like a negative.  The rule of threes meant I had to add the admission ticket from My Craft Spot, one of the oldest sets in my stash.  It was all placed on a panel embossed with Tasteful Textile from SU.

Time Out #285

This should be a fun challenge.  Time Out wants you to make a card inspired by your favorite movie.

See if you can tell what my movie is?

The jacket die is from Concord and 9th's Carpe Denim.  It represents the Pink Ladies and T Birds from "Grease".  The background is Masonry Wall from Altenew and the sentiment is computer generated. I thought it would make a great anniversary card. 

I also thought this would be a cute set for young adult cards and have already made one for my grandson in denim.  

The design team has some fantastic cards featuring their favorite movies and we hope they inspire you to join in the fun and make a card.  The winner will receive a stamp set from Claire Brennan, former owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps, and an invitation to be a guest designer.

Time Out #191

The challenge at Time Out is to be inspired by a movie.  See if you can guess what movie I chose.

If you guessed "Cocktail" starring Tom Cruise, you're right.  I used these lovely little stamps from Newton's Nook, colored with Zigs.  I stamped the sentiments that come with the set in light gray for the background and added the cheers die cut from the set, layered three times and colored with Zigs.  What a fun card to make!
