Just Us Girls #827 - Word Week

The Just Us Girls challenge is wide open as Vicki has chosen this as her word for the week.

There are so many ways you can go with this theme that I expect to see a lot  of cards in our gallery.  One thing that means summer to me is something I happen to have just the stamp set for.

That's right!  What's summer without s'mores?  This S'mores set is from The Greetery. The graham crackers were cut from Kraft cardstock and the marshmallows were colored with Distress Inks in Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Gathered Twigs.  Don't ask how many combinations I tried to get the look I wanted and this is the best I could do,  The chocolate is done with Altenew's Mocha and Espresso.  The sentiment is The Greetery's Warm and Cozy and the background is an ancient Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.

AAA Cards #192 and Perfectly CAS #16

What's one of the best things about summer?  Besides warm weather and water sports it has to be S'mores.  That's where the challenge at AAA Cards (one corner, summer memories) took me.  Perfectly CAS has a one corner challenge too so my card is headed there.

All the images are from The Greetery and with the words on the chocolate I didn't need any other sentiment. Can't get much more clean and simple than that.  Not to mention yummy looking.  Now where did I put those marshmallows?

CAS(E) This Sketch #394

 I got the perfect stamp set in the mail the other day for the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.

My love affair with s'mores has spilled over into my card making.  lol  The set is from The Greetery, stamped with Altenew ink.  I don't often make multiples but while I had 4 of the stamps in my MISTI I made four cards.  Now that I see it on the big screen, the edges of the marshmallow should have been darker.  Mine are usually close to black.  😉

Addicted to CAS #115

NOTE:  If you saw this before it was because I scheduled it on the wrong date.

Ceal is the host for Addicted to CAS and she chose the word 'Summer'.

This time I had to resort to a digital image for my card but I love it!

Making s'mores is the epitome of summer to me.  A campfire, roasted marshmallows, a box of graham crackers and wonderful chocolate bars. Yummy yummy come down to my tummy.  Distress Inks were used to color my image and the sentiment is computer generated.
