Inspired By #194 and Peace On Earth #3

I've been conjuring up some Christmas decorations and one of my ideas includes a wreath similar to the Christmas photo on Inspired By.  I've made a paper one to practice.

The greens and bows are from Altenew's Holiday Bow, the Chisholm wreath from SSS, the shiplap stencil from Honey Bee and the sentiment from Penny Black.  Isn't it great how different  companies work so well together.

I'm also sending this to the Peace on Earth - an ongoing Christmas challenge.  This is my first time visiting them and they have a wonderful mood board to inspire us.

Thanks for dropping by.

Time Out #185

Guess what caught my eye in this photo for the Time Out Challenge?

If you said the flowers you were absolutely right.

The Dahlias are layered stamps from Altenew.  The vase is also theirs and I used UTEE to make a thick shiny coat on it.  The background is a shiplap stencil from Honey Bee.

There's still time to enter the challenge.  What catches your eye?

Inspired By - Sitting Pretty

I was inspired by the colors in the photo at Inspired By.  And what do I usually use to make my cards?  Why flowers of course.
These Artful Flowers from SSS used to be one of my favorites but they've been neglected of late.  I white heat embossed them on Bristol and colored them in the photo colors with Zigs.  To make the background I used my NBUS shiplap stencil from HoneyBee, also inking around the edges with Hickory Smoke DI.  The sentiment is from EbyE.

Have a great day and thanks for dropping by.
