52 Christmas Card Throwdown - Week 7

I am guest designer at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week as a result of a win with this card.  This is the theme.

I pulled out Stump and Twiggy from TH and had fun dressing them up in their winter garb.  The sky was colored with Distress Ink and the snow drift cut with a SSS hills die.   The sentiment is from Penny Black.

Do you need a push to start on your Christmas cards?  This is a great challenge to get you going and the Design Team has some wonderful inspiration for you.

Time Out #228

This is the last challenge of the year for Time Out.  The next time I post there it will be as a design team member.  I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the team and seeing all the cards that you post to the gallery.  Until then I have a card for their winter holiday challenge.

When I saw Chilly and Freezy, the snowmen from Tim Holtz, I knew I had to have them.  I'm not really a "put together tiny pieces" card maker but they were so easy and cute to boot.  I had the Frantic Stamper trees in my stash and added snow with an embossing pen and High White embossing powder.  A little DI inking in the background and some torn snowhills for my HA sentiment was all I needed to finish off my winter scene.

This card is for all of you who stop by my blog and leave comments.  I do appreciate it.

Freshly Made Sketches #557

I stamped a number of the MFT Christmas Selfies when I visited Bonnie last winter and am now just getting them made into cards.  This one is for Freshly Made Sketches.

The snowmen were colored with Altenew Artist Markers.  What better place to put them than snowfall paper from Echo Park.  The sentiment is from Penny Black.  I'm slowly but surely getting my Christmas cards done.

Inspired By Challenge #53 and ABC Christmas

I was lucky enough to win the sled challenge at Inspired By with this card.  Now I have a card for their snowman challenge.
There's only one in the photo but I thought he needed a friend. The snowmen are from Inky Antics and are colored with PolyChromos pencils.  The sentiment is from the same set.  If you look closely you can see I used Puff embossing powder on their hats.

I found a new Christmas card challenge, ABC Christmas Challenge (A is for Anything Goes) and I'm sending my card to them too.

Thanks for dropping by.  It makes my day to see you've been here.

Just Us Girls #421 - Photo Week

This will be our last post for the year 2017 as the Just Us Girls design team will be taking a holiday break.  Vicki is our host and she chose this lovely image for Photo Week.
There are lots of things to inspire your card in this photo - the images, the color, the design, the theme.  We hope you'll join us and guest designer Trina Pham this week.

I was taken by the darling snowmen in the upper right and used the red, aqua and tan to color them with Zigs.
The design team has plenty of inspiration for you over on the blog.  Take a  peek and make a card.  You may be chosen Chic of the Week with a chance to be our guest designer in February.

I want to thank Trina for being our guest in November and all the other guest designers who have graced our challenges this year.  Please come back and see us on January 6.
