Less is More #238

Less is More has a sketch this week.

I wanted to use my 'never before inked' houndstooth background stamp and thought this would be the perfect sketch to use.

I clear embossed it and dropped Distress Ink onto a watered down panel.  I partially die cut my NBUS celebrate die from Poppy Stamps but it didn't show up enough on the background so I cut it again in purple foil.  Once the foil was on, it was apparent that I needed to add a few sequins, not something I usually do but the pull was so strong. ;)

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope your week is going well.

I think your added sequins are the perfect finishing touch to this very cool card, Bobby. LOVE that purple foil 'celebrate' against that sweet mulitcolored houndstooth pattern. What a fun card. Have a great weekend. Bev

You're right: this is a perfect sketch for your houndstooth to make its debut! The colours are lovely! Your foiled and partial die-cut sentiment is so eye-catching!
