CAS(E) This Sketch
has to be one of my favorite challenges to play in. It's wide open to interpretation and makes me think outside the box. Here is this week's card.
I must confess that originally the watercolored panel was to be directly on the card base but a little seepage made a change necessary. It worked out for the best because I really love it on the Soft Stone cs. The white flower outline is something I cut when I was at Michele's and I didn't note the maker. The SSS sentiment is cut three times from dark gray and a smattering of sequins stand in for the spatters. What is happening here? I not a big sequin user but I'm loving them on this card.
Thanks for dropping by.
So good to know you our sketches inspire you Bobby! You did a fabulous job again this week!ReplyDelete
Thanks for playing!
Beautiful! I love that the flower outline sits atop the watercolored panel!ReplyDelete
You nailed this layout and your card is beautiful! Love the panel!ReplyDelete
Bobby that flower outline works perfectly sitting on that watercolour panel. Love this idea. I have this flower die and of course I always die cut then put all the pieces back but here is such a simple yet effective way to use it. All comes together so well.ReplyDelete
Sometime our mistakes turn out to be brilliant ideas LOL!! This is fabulous Bobby, love the outline bloom!ReplyDelete
This is so pretty. Love your water colored panel and that white die cut flower.ReplyDelete

Wonderful take on the sketch, Bobby! I love that you subbed sequins, and popped up the panel with the die cut. So pretty!ReplyDelete
I'm loving the sequins on this card too, Bobby ... and that lovely crisp white die cut against those delicious warm watercolours ... simply lovely! Hugs, Anita :)ReplyDelete
Running shoes on and catching up! Gorgeous water-coloured panel: perfect hostess for that pretty outline bloom and certainly striking against the soft grey background. I agree: the sequins are amazing!ReplyDelete
