Twofer Card Challenge #1

Yippee!  Hip Hip Hooray! Today's the day a new challenge arrives on the scene.  This one is from the creative mind of the fabulous Darnell and is called the Twofer Card Challenge
Doesn't that sound like fun and a great way to increase your stash of cards?  Each challenge has a word prompt and a wonderful Design Team to inspire you. This month it is

I have a few feather stamps but I chose this one from Clearly Besotted.
This cheer/get well card has the feathers stamped and die cut.

On the birthday card they are stamped in spritzed Peacock Feathers and heat embossed in gold.

I know you'll want to get in on the ground floor of this fabulous challenge.  Head on over and check it out.

Bobby, these are wonderful!!! I love your two vastly different feathery beauties. That first card has so much dimension and still retains a lovely CAS feel. And that gorgeous Peacock blue is incredible on your second card. Thank you so much for playing along at the Twofer Challenge!! xo Bev

Beautiful cards Bobby!! The first card is so clean and fresh with the soft gray and all that gorgeous white space. And the second is amazing with the feathers done in blue with gold embossing over top. I have never seen that done before ... so creative! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx

There's such a beautiful sense of calm and serenity about your first card, Bobby ... I can almost reach out and touch those soft grey feathers! Love the halo of colour around the gold embossing ... rich and gorgeous ... I'm guessing the choice of peacock feathers ink to go with the images was entirely intentional! Delighted to have you playing along with us at our first Twofer Card Challenge! Hugs, Anita :)

Aw, thank you so much for the enthusiastic welcome to Blogland, Bobby! It is beciting to see my friends embracing the concept so beautifully! I love both your thoughtful designs. The first card is CASlicious and it has a huge tactile impact! And, please, peacock blue and embossed gold? It brings out the Cleopatra in all of us!! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell
