CAS Christmas - June

I am honored to be the guest designer for the CAS Christmas challenge for June.   I won in April with this card and was invited to be part of this month's challenge.  It's a masculine theme and I had an idea right away for my cards.
I've used this PTI set before but never the die with the holes.  I used buttonhole thread to string them just like real snowshoes.  I wanted to add a little color so I heat embossed the PB sentiment on navy cs and added a strip of navy down both sides.

The Design Team has some wonderful masculine Christmas cards for your inspiration over on the blog.  We hope you'll join us for this challenge.  Just remember to make it CAS.

I'll see you back on the 17th with another card.

Fantastic masculine card Bobby! Very cool that you added the strings yourself --- the snowshoes look real with that done. Love the bit of colour from the navy accents. Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer this month at CAS Christmas! xx

I love the simplicity of your design and your white and navy color combo, but it was the stringing of your snowshoes that really put your beautiful masculine card over the top! TFS your beautiful and creative card, Bobby. So pleased you are the CAS Christmas Card Challenge Guest Designer this month. TFS Hugs..

Such a cool masculine CAS card, Bobby! You did a fantastic job with threading on the snowshoes - it makes them look real and adds dimensional interest. Adding a strip of navy to both sides of the white card base is effective, too.
Thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at CAS Christmas! Hideko xx

Wow! Love those snowshoes, and your card is a perfect example of how CAS applies to the design of the overall card, not necessarily to how quickly it can be crafted. Brilliant!
