I love the topic of the Twofer Challenge this time - Bees. I only have one bee stamp from RC but I love it. Here's what I did with it.
You know you have to do a card for two different occasions using the same image. First up is my uplifting card.
I mixed Distress Ink with translucent texture paste and spread it on my card base. While it dried I cut the panel with a TH die and stamped the sentiment. I colored the bees with Inktense pencils and replaced the wings on this one with some stamped on iridescent vellum with silver and sparkle embossed.
The background was make with Scattered Straw and Wild Honey DI through a Funky Fossil stencil. When it was done I didn't like the white showing through so I spread the Scattered Straw over the entire panel that was cut with an MFT die. Then I didn't like the white border so out came the Scattered Straw again. The sentiment is from the same set and one I get a kick out of.
Thanks for dropping by. Now that the floors are done and almost everything is back in order I will have more time to make cards and comment on your blogs.

Only one bee stamp, but it's a GOOD one! Oh, my goodness, that sentiment on the birthday card -- love it! In fact, I dearly love both your eye catching, beautifully crafted cards. Thank you so much for playing at Twofer!!
I like the sentiment on both of these and that is a great bee! Two fabulous cards Bobby!
I am loving how many different bees are landing in the gallery. This is another cute plump one you've used, Bobby, and I love that we are looking down on the top of him in your fabulous designs! I love how you used the corner die and gave your bee pretty iridescent vellum wings on your first design and how you went the extra mile and spread scattered straw on the honeycomb panel and card base on your second design to tone down the white! I also love that sediment! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #17! Hugs, Darnell
I am so happy to have been crafting together, even when we're apart, Bobby! LOve your BEE U tiful corner, Bobby! Such a fabulous idea! and *sigh* you know I just love those sweet little vellum wings!

I am totally in love with that RC bee, Bobby! He's a wonderful size and has the most perfect wings. Your first card is so cool - love the honeycomb in the corner with the golden texture paste beneath it. Perfect vellum wings, btw!! Your belated birthday card is a hoot! That sentiment!! Love that center panel and all the layers of color you've used. Two fabulous cards! Thank you dear friend, for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev
I love the honey showing through the die cut and those sparkly wings on the first card! The sentiment on the second card is priceless! Great job of getting the background just right!
Sweet! Love your beautiful bees cards with two fantastic backgrounds. Those are great sentiments, Bobby! Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
Gosh that texture-y honeycomb looks so tempting, Bobby ... no wonder your sweet, iridescent winged bee is heading in that direction! Fantastic detailing on such a deliciously clean card! Love how you have the bee spiraling down into the hive on your second card ... it mimics brilliantly the sense of that fun sentiment! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
Bee-utiful - that's what comes to mind! So cool how you kind of reversed the backgrounds. Just give a completely different fee to the cards! Great sentiments on both cards, too!
Fun cards, and that second sentiment is a hoot! Great cards, Bobby!
love these! What stamp set(s) did you use?
I absolutely adore your bee cards, Bobby, and how fitting that you received HM at Twofer for your creativity! Love that big ol' bee and the sentiment on the second is fantastic! Need to add a hexagon/beehive stencil to my collection; I'll check out Sarah's site for sure!
