Just Us Girls #541 - Color Week

Vicki is our host for Color Week at Just Us Girls
and here are her color choices.
I saw a rug on a Wayfair ad and used it as the inspiration for my card.
Using a leaf stamp from Altenew, I stamped and heat embossed them in opposite corners.  The panel was colored with Distress Ink but I thought it needed more so I used the same color with a HA background stamp.  I'm not crazy about the sentiment.  I thought I would just use the brown part of the die cut but it was difficult to read the words so I cut it again in white and inlaid the letters. It is actually more the kraft color of the leaves IRL.

I'm sure there are a number of things that come to mind when you see these colors.  Why not turn one of them into a card for the challenge.

Fantastic inking of the background, Bobby! It's perfect for showing off these leaves! I love how the white sentiment stands out and shouts Happy Birthday!

This came out great Bobby! Your embossing came out so thick. I always struggle with this. Great card!
