Just Us Girls #631 - Word Week

This week's challenge at Just Us Girls is perfect for me.  For Word Week Vicki has chosen

I must admit that I didn't notice the plural until after my card was done but I love it so I'm going with it.

The coneflower is a HoneyBee die, cut from pink cardstock and inked with Salt Water Taffy.  I cut a stem for it and used the same color for the leaves, inking them with Peeled Paint.  For the background, I stamped the sentiment from Penny Black and then embossed the Catherine Pooler coverplate rather than cutting it.  It gives a more subtle look.

I know you all have flowers that you can make a card with so I'm hoping you'll join me, my teammates and our guest designer this week at Just Us Girls.

  5. I love the simplicity of this. You have used one of my favorite die sets, which I haven't used in a long time by the way. Your colors are fabulous and the embossed background is perfect. It really makes that focal pop.
