Altenew September 2022 Enchanted Winter Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Do you love stencils and embossing folders?  Altenew has a new release just for you.

You should have arrived here from Nathalie DeSousa's blog.  If not you can start at the beginning at the Altenew blog where the talented Tenia Nelson has some wonderful creations for you.

First on my list of cards are two using the Berried CotonEaster 3D Embossing Folder.

The flat side of the folder was covered with Altenew Jet Black ink before running it through my die cutting machine.  A light spritz brought out some of the pink color you see.  The sentiment is from the One-Go Birthday Greetings Stamp and Die Bundle, heat embossed in silver.

This time the Berried CotonEaster 3d Embossing Folder was embossed on watercolor paper and painted with the Altenew 36 Color Pan Set

Another 3D embossing folder in this release is Checkered Squares.

It makes a wonderful background for any of the Altenew flower stamps.  Here I used the Beautiful Day Stamp and Die Bundle, stamping the blossoms in Mauve and Amethyst and the leaves in Misty Moor and Marshland.  The sentiment from One-Go Birthday Greetings Stamp and Die Bundle.

Next are two cards that were made with the Daisies Stencil and Embossing Folder Bundle.

I picked out some soft Altenew inks for the flowers: Pastel Sunrise, Rose Quartz and Soft Lilac and the centers are Fresh Lemon and Maple Yellow.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Sentiments Die Set.

Daisies are my favorite flower and I wanted to make some traditional looking ones.  This was accomplished by inking the flat side of the embossing folder with Evening Gray before running it through my die cutting machine.  The stencil was used to color the centers and stems.  The sentiment is from the One-Go Birthday Greetings Stamp and Die Bundle.

You can find the all newly released products at the Altenew Store

Hi, Bobby, your cards are just lovely!! My favorite flower is the daisy also (my husband named his yellow vette Daisey! lol_) I loved the gray you used on it too, it looks like granite.

Beautiful cards! I love your idea of embossing on the watercolor paper and then coloring with watercolors. I have that pan set too and I might need to try this technique.
