After two years I finally scheduled a Playdate with Michele. In case you didn't know, I moved to Ohio in 2020 to live with my daughter in the winter. Summers are spent at Higgins Lake, Michigan which is much closer to where Michele lives so it made the date possible. Marcia was supposed to meet with us one day but she had a family emergency that kept her away and I missed seeing her. It's always such fun to sit face to face with friends and have a great time crafting, laughing, eating and sharing.
We decided to each make a card to post today.
The flowers, oval and sentiment are from a new set of Michele's from Concord and 9th. They're actually black-eyed Susans but this daisy lover had to make her fav. I even borrowed the textile embossing folder from SU.
I know what Michele made and you're going to love it. Head on over to I Card Everyone to check it out.

This is soooo pretty Bobby...Michele really does have the best stuff to play with, doesn't she?!! The gingham background along with the textured background make just a perfect place to spotlight those lovely daisies! Absolutely beautiful, beautiful card, and I'm so bummed still that I had to miss this playdate! Next year!!!!! Hugs. :0)

How great that you could finally get together in person, Bobby! I love how you made these black eyed Susans into daisies!! So pretty with the texture!
Nothing better than crafting with friends, you are a lucky woman. I love this card so much. That gingham background is perfect for those daisies, especially that color. Blue, white and yellow just make this card pop, it's simply FABULOUS!!!
So happy you two got that play date in! Sounds like a great time and my goodness is this card ever cute. Love that you made daisies!
Sounds like you and Michele had fun crafting, eating, and chatting together! Sorry to hear Marcia couldn't make it.
Great job of turning the Black-eyed Susans into Daisies! They're so pretty and the light sponging on the petals are so effective!
Hideko xx
How fun it must have been for you and Michele to play together. I love your card. Coneflowers are some of my favorites. I love the embossed background. I also love the bit of inking on the petals.
