Color Hues #79

I've had my card for Color Hues sitting on my desk for ages.  I guess I'd better post it before the deadline gets any closer.

I knew I wanted to make a copper pot with my Crusty Copper embossing powder but it took a while to find something to grow in it.  Here's a close-up of the pot from Tim Holtz.

I finally settled on the ferns that come with PTI's Dahlia set, cutting them from green and inking the middle for shading.  The back panel is embossed with the burlap folder from Honey Bee.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

Oh, do I miss my pot of Italian flat-leaf parsley in the Winter, Bobby - that's where your darling card takes me! [before you ask, it just doesn't grow as well inside - I've tried!]

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen Crusty Copper embossing powder and I love the texture it creates. Filling it with the parsley was a great idea and the embossed background finishes it off perfectly! Thanks for sharing it with us at Color Hues!
