Freshly Made Sketches #696, Inkspirational #346 and Seize the Birthday #310

It was hot and steamy yesterday so I stayed in and made a card for Freshly Made Sketches.  Since it was a birthday card, I'm also sending it to Inkspirational and Seize the Birthday - without the topping.

It all started with Concord and 9th's Birdhouse Blossoms.  I went looking for some patterned paper for the background, found one from Honey Bee and based my bird and house colors on it and added a heat embossed sentiment from Hero Arts.

Thanks for dropping by.  Happy TGIF.

What a great take on the sketch, Bobby! Love the paper you used and that chubby little bird!

Starting with such a pretty paper, how could you go wrong at all? I love your little bluebird, Bobby - you know what a soft spot they have in my heart! Four eggs in the latest nest box - it has to be so hot in that box... poor mama - good thing she has a nice cool bird bath to refresh between sittings!
You've really put Jen's sketch to perfect use!

This is really cute and a nice size for a birdhouse and its owner. This has an autumn feel to it, but this would look great for any season really. Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!

He is soooo cute! I love the autumnal colors you chose. And that is one of my favorite designer papers in the background. I may have to order another paper pad just to get more of it. Thanks so much for playing with Seize the Birthday!
